First Quarter 2020 Newsletter



Hope you are had a restful end to 2019.

As the new year begins, the theme for this month's enquiry into Being Human at this time is Being Organized.

organize (v.)

early 15c., organisen, "to construct, establish," from Old French organiser and directly from Medieval Latin organizare, from Latin organum "instrument, organ" (see organ). Meaning "to form into a whole consisting of interdependent parts" is from 1630s.

What we got up to last quarter



Janine Ahler, Senior Faculty in Integral Coaching from the Centre for Coaching, based at the University of Cape Town’s Graduate School of Business, offered her masterclass on Coaching the Body as well as co-leading with Sue and Cathy the second module of Coaching For Development We are excited to say that we are planning another visit from Janine in Q4 of this year to lead Facilitating Coaching Circles and co-lead an Integral Coach graduate retreat



Volker Krohn's evening on the Hoffman Process proved interesting and also raised $180 for HOME the migrant worker NGO.

Upcoming this quarter



We are very excited that Professor Tatiana Bachkirova will be offering a workshop for coaches on 12th February entitled

"Self as an instrument of coaching: what does this actually mean and what to do about it?"

This will be a small, interactive workshop and a chance to learn from one of the most distinguished authors and speakers in the field of coaching psychology and developmental coaching.

An internationally renowned author and speaker in the field of coaching and supervision, Tatiana is Professor of Coaching Psychology and Director of the International Centre for Coaching and Mentoring Studies at Oxford Brookes university, UK.

Tatiana holds various awards in recognition of her distinguished contribution to coaching psychology from the British Psychological Society and EMCC. She is a Convener and Co-Chair of the International Conference in Coaching Supervision and serves as a member of the editorial boards of four academic journals.
